You walk along the narrow street, listening to the paper sellers shouting ever more creative headlines to hawk their wares as you dodge the messengers and candlehops weaving their way through the crowd.

“What’s the plan?” Ashur asks.

You’re not sure how you ended up in charge of this operation, given that you’ve only been a Shadow Dragon for a few weeks and not only Ashur, but pretty much every other member of the organization is technically your boss. Still, he and Tarquin are both looking at you, so you’d better make a suggestion—and you’re hardly short of choices here.

What you actually want to do is buy a nice bottle of Minrathous red and go stand somewhere you aren’t being rained on, but that’s not likely to help you achieve your end goal. Instead, you need an idea that might actually lead to some clues about Neve’s disappearance.
