The earliest wisps to arrive head straight for the Venatori corpses closest to you, settling into them as though they were no different to the skeleton constructs the wisps in the Grand Necropolis pilot. Those corpses make an abrupt about-face and begin pushing back the way they came, targeting the still-living cultists with the same fervor they were just using against you.

As you watch, more and more of the Venatori join the marching dead, with each new casualty receiving a wisp pilot of its very own. The wisps that don’t have bodies to steer yet swarm around the battlefield, distracting your remaining opponents and making it almost impossible to target you and your companions as you duck and dodge from one cluster of enemy blood mages to the next.

Soon, the Venatori left alive are no match for their reanimated colleagues—but it’s only when the outcome has been firmly decided in your favor that the wisps stream out of the corpses again. They hover for a brief moment, then float up high into the air, heading away from the arena and back to wherever they came from with Neve’s shouted thanks following them.
