Nobody really feels like fish at the moment, so all three of you look around for other ways to kill some time without attracting any more attention than you already have.

Or at least, you do. Tarquin almost immediately vanishes into Dock Town’s maze of back alleyways with Ashur, a determined and somewhat suggestive look on his face, leaving you to spend an awkward quarter of an hour standing about in the street pretending to watch for Venatori while Ashur and Tarquin do… whatever it is they’re doing back there.

It’s good that someone is keeping an eye out, though, because it means you can see when people who are just about as good at subtlety as you are stop by Elek’s position on the docks and deliver news. By the time you’ve seen it three or four times, you’re ready to assume that, if he’s going to hear anything about Neve, he’ll have heard it by now—so when Ashur and Tarquin emerge, you’re ready to go.
