You know what? If Dorian is telling you to run, then who are you to argue with him?

As it takes another swing at you with its massive, spiked arms, you duck under the attempted blow and sprint across the grass to catch up with the others, who are already on their way to the arena. Glancing back, you can see the demon tearing up the Venatori along with a large chunk of the city’s prized Silent Plains rose garden. You’re sure you’ll have to deal with that eventually—after all, you still need to get out of the Proving Grounds—but for now, you need to get to Neve.

It’s a good thing Dorian has been here before and knows the quickest way to the arena, because you’re completely out of breath, legs burning, by the time you get to the entrance doors. They’re locked, of course, but at least that takes no more than a quick application of Ashur’s cleverest force magic to deal with before the mechanism gives way and the doors swing open.
