You’ve had your fill of catacombs after the horror you’ve just survived.

“Let’s get out of here,” you suggest. “I don’t think those worms knew anything about Neve—and I don’t think the darkspawn will either.”

Ashur looks hesitant, glancing back in the direction of the lower levels, but Tarquin is already nodding along with you.

“Yeah,” he says. “Why don’t we look somewhere people actually spend time? The catacombs are where you go when you don’t want anyone to see you.”

It’s a fair point. If Neve has been down here, she’s probably gone to some trouble to obscure that fact, and you’re under no illusions that any of you is a better detective than Neve Gallus. (The Neve Gallus! You’re still a little amazed.)

And besides, the catacombs are terrifying. Even more so now that you know what else lives in them besides darkspawn.

“I can think of a few places that might be more informative,” you say.
