“Of course I’ll go,” you say. After all, this kind of thing is the reason you joined the Shadow Dragons in the first place.
“Remember,” the Viper says. “We’re just looking for information about what’s happened to Neve right now. We don’t anticipate any fighting… but we can’t be certain of anything.”
“Swords in the supply closet,” Tarquin says. “Armor, too, if you haven’t got your own. And shields if you feel like carrying around a load of useless metal.”
“Don’t mind him,” the Viper says. “He has opinions.”
You nod. “Thanks, Viper. I’ll, uh…” You indicate the supply closet. You don’t have armor—or pretty much any other kind of gear—so you’d better hurry up and get prepared.
“And please,” the Viper says as he turns back to the group. “Call me Ashur.”
