Tarquin looks unconvinced, but you know his wariness of Mae outweighs his desire to make the magister pay. Instead, he lets the man stand and you frog-march him between you all the way back to the pawn shop, where you stop to drop him off. Mae gives Dorian the short version and, although he does his best imitation of a sulk at “missing all the excitement,” he nods seriously when you hand your prisoner over to him.

He’ll be safe at headquarters under heavy guard for now—and, once you have Neve, he can face judgment before the Magisterium for his crimes. You don’t think Dorian and his supporters will let the man off lightly.
